How to get to the STRAAT Museum

The STRAAT Museum in Amsterdam is located in NDSM Plein, a square in the Amsterdam-Noord district. The best way to get there is undoubtedly the F4 ferry, which leaves every 15 minutes from Central Station. The crossing, besides being very pleasant and scenic, takes about 15 minutes and stops directly at the NDSM pier. From there, it is about a two-minute walk to the entrance of the STRAAT Museum.

It is also possible to get there by bus, lines 391 and 391, both departing from the central station, which stop at Klaprozenweg, a few minutes’ walk from the museum entrance.

We strongly advise against the use of a car, as from the centre of Amsterdam you have to drive about 12 kilometres westwards, and the journey time is longer than by public transport; the advantage, however, is that parking is not difficult in the area.
